The development of human capital has always been one of the key approaches in Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex, and in recent years, several measures have been taken to improve it.
By 2023, the total number of employees in the company had increased to 1100, owing to the implementation of new operations and the hiring of 455 new employees. The company has always prioritized the recruitment of local workers, and as a result, over 90 percent of the workforce comprises of local employees. This percentage has remained unchanged despite the increase in the total workforce.
In addition, the newly employed young workers have reduced the average age of the Neyriz Ghadir Steel community compared to last year.

Training of human resources

Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex prioritizes the education of its workforce, particularly new employees, to enhance their skills and knowledge. To achieve this, the company collaborates with Mobarakeh Steel Complex, the biggest steel complex in the Middle East, to provide various training courses that familiarize the employees with the steel production chain. This demonstrates the high value that Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex places on training, expertise, and fair employment practices.

    Health and HSE are the priority of Neyriz Steel

  • To ensure the safety and health of the workplace, it is important to obtain and follow laws and standards related to work safety. This includes monitoring the proper implementation of these laws and standards, as well as continuously checking the safety status of production halls, non-production areas, and all machinery and equipment in order to prevent accidents. Obtaining a certificate of safety for all equipment is also essential.

    Ghadir Neyriz Steel Company was one of the 7 steel projects approved by the government delegation in 2007 with the aim of decentralizing steel production. The construction of a DRI plant with a capacity of 800 thousand tons and a steelworks with a capacity of one million tons began in 2007.

    In 2014, an agreement was signed between the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) and Ghadir International Industries & Mines Development Company (Public Joint Stock) for investment and partnership in the construction, completion, and commissioning of the incomplete Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex project. The agreement allocated 65% of the investment to the second party (Ghadir) and 35% to the first party (IMIDRO).

    Ghadir Neyriz Steel Company is registered in the form of a joint stock company with the registration number 1300 and national ID 14004505206 in the Neyriz notary office.
