Steelmaking is the beating heart of Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex. The construction of this plant took approximately 16 years and faced various challenges, including issues with executing government projects, resource shortages, sanctions, and frequent changes in management, which led to multiple revisions of the project timeline. However, starting from mid-October 2021, with the new management changes (Mohsen Mostafapour) and secured financial resources, the completion of the plant accelerated. In less than 32 months, with all equipment installed and operational tests conducted, the plant commenced production in the spring of 2024.

Specialist human resources

Our teams have been working tirelessly on planning, finances, technicalities, and support. We have also recruited and trained new personnel at Iran's esteemed Mobarakeh Steel Company. Thanks to these efforts, we are proud to continue delivering quality products while also starting a new steel plant.

Global and Up-to-Date Standards

The main supplier of steelmaking equipment in the complex was a famous international company. The company is renowned for its strict standards and exceptional quality.

Ghadir Neyriz Steel Company was one of the 7 steel projects approved by the government delegation in 2007 with the aim of decentralizing steel production. The construction of a DRI plant with a capacity of 800 thousand tons and a steelworks with a capacity of one million tons began in 2007.

In 2014, an agreement was signed between the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) and Ghadir International Industries & Mines Development Company (Public Joint Stock) for investment and partnership in the construction, completion, and commissioning of the incomplete Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex project. The agreement allocated 65% of the investment to the second party (Ghadir) and 35% to the first party (IMIDRO).

Ghadir Neyriz Steel Company is registered in the form of a joint stock company with the registration number 1300 and national ID 14004505206 in the Neyriz notary office.
