On the fourth day of the Iran Metafo international exhibition, Dr. Seyed Javad Jahromi, the CEO of the Iran Mercantile Exchange, visited the DRI booth of the Ghadir Neyriz Steel Complex, one of the largest entities involved in the trading of pellets and Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) on the exchange. During this visit, Dr. Jahromi, referring to the second year of sponge iron being offered on the commodity exchange, mentioned the maturity of this market and praised the Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex as one of the regular suppliers of sponge iron on the commodity exchange.
The CEO of Iran Mercantile Exchange expressed hope that with the regular supply by active companies in this field, the steel supply chain's demand for sponge iron would be met. He also referred to the long-term contracts planned for the supply of pellets to DRI producers, mentioning it as a solution to alleviate the concerns of these producers.
Dr. Jahromi concluded by commending the cooperation between the Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex and the Iran Mercantile Exchange, considering the stable supply of sponge iron as a stabilizer for the steel market.
The Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex, as one of the largest producers of sponge iron in Iran, has always strived to contribute to the stability of the steel market by regularly supplying this product on the commodity exchange. With its active presence in its booth at the Iran Metafo exhibition, the complex announced its readiness to collaborate with other industry players toward the prosperity and development of the country's steel market.
Furthermore, the booth showcased the latest achievements of the Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex in sponge iron production, and the complex's experts answered visitors' questions.
With the benefits of a regular supply of sponge iron on the commodity exchange, it is expected that this trend will continue in the future, contributing to further stability and prosperity of the country's steel market.
Moreover, through collaborations between the Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex, the Iran Mercantile Exchange, and other industry players, it is possible to address the concerns of producers and meet the steel supply chain's needs for this crucial product.
