On December 13, Dr. Mohammad Ali Shirazi, CEO of Iran-Exchange, along with Dr. Seyed Mehdi Alamolhoda, Deputy of Admission at Iran-Exchange, visited Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex in Fars Province, one of Iran's largest producers of pellets and DRI. The purpose of this visit was to examine the process of admitting this complex to Iran-Exchange and to take a step towards transparency in the trading of pellets and DRI on the exchange.

During the visit, Dr. Shirazi praised the actions taken by the Ghadir Neyriz Steel Complex, recognizing it as one of the most organized and transparent steel companies that have applied for admission to Iran-Exchange so far. He highlighted the complex's distinguished history in producing and supplying pellets and DRI, noting transparency as the key to the company's success in progressing and enhancing transparency in trading these items on the exchange.

The CEO of Iran-Exchange enumerated several benefits of admitting the Ghadir Neyriz Steel Complex to the exchange, which will favor both buyers and sellers of pellets and DRI. These advantages include:

Dr. Mostafa Pour, CEO of  Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex, also outlined the complex's plans for admission to Iran-Exchange and increasing transparency in the trading of pellets and DRI during the visit. He expressed hope that with the cooperation and assistance of Iran-Exchange, this objective would be achieved promptly.

Ghadir Neyriz Steel Company was one of the 7 steel projects approved by the government delegation in 2007 with the aim of decentralizing steel production. The construction of a DRI plant with a capacity of 800 thousand tons and a steelworks with a capacity of one million tons began in 2007.

In 2014, an agreement was signed between the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) and Ghadir International Industries & Mines Development Company (Public Joint Stock) for investment and partnership in the construction, completion, and commissioning of the incomplete Neyriz Ghadir Steel Complex project. The agreement allocated 65% of the investment to the second party (Ghadir) and 35% to the first party (IMIDRO).

Ghadir Neyriz Steel Company is registered in the form of a joint stock company with the registration number 1300 and national ID 14004505206 in the Neyriz notary office.
